Way to prevent duplicates in playlists.

I have big playlists, and would like a built in way to prevent duplicates from occuring in my playlists.  This could be an option to prevent, or select/hide duplicates.

Doesn't work on my iMac but it does do this on my iPad. I can't believe you STILL can't click at the top of a row to alphabetize or the artist to organize. Let alone duplicates. Come on! Really!

The browser application USED to give you the duplicate song message when adding to a playlist, but for the last month (or longer?) that doesn't work anymore.  Please fix Spotify!!

My playlist has a diffrent number of songs at the desktop version (2991 songs) when compared to my iphone ou ipad apps (3066 songs).

Why??? They supposed to show exactly the same picture as this is a cloud solution!

Great idea. Although it does warn you when you're putting in the same song twice from the same album. But I have came across putting in the same song twice when one of them was from a greatest hits album and the other was from the original album. It's too hard to remember what songs are in in your 100+ song playlist. This would be a great idea. Possibly a notification showing a similar song title is in the playlist. Then you can decide if it's a duplicate or not.
