[XBOX ONE][Podcasts] Video for Podcasts on XBOX ONE

Not even sure why this has to be an idea, if you acquire one of the most watched podcast of our time, implementing video across all apps YOU CREATE should be a must. Currently can't watch the JRE podcasts on the app for XBOX ONE, only audio. This shouldn't need to be voted up, this should be done for those of us who are premium customers.  But let's get it past 100 votes.

Up until this point I’ve just been watching the clips on YouTube, but thought I’d finally give this Spotify thing a go and watch a whole episode. Never even considered that the Xbox app wouldn’t have video implemented when such a fuss was made about the fact that Spotify would support video. Surely this is just a common sense addition when you’re trying to make a $100 million investment pay off..

I’m stuck between knowing I should comment because Clearly this is actually a thing, and not knowing what to comment because this is such an obvious feature that should’ve been included considering The Joe Reagan podcast episodes are predominantly watched on YouTube - VIDEO.

Why has this not been implemented yet? I feel disrespected honestly, why do I even pay for this app? If you're not gonna make it so that we can watch Joe Rogan Podcast on all platforms than let him get back on YouTube.

How spotify became the go-to subscription service is beyond me. Hire better managers, programmers, and get it together. Can't watch JRE because No video on xbox, where I watch long videos. Video exists on my phone, where I don't watch 3 hour videos. I'm just so fed up with your sub par dev on this product. You're lucky there aren't good competitors for music right now. Meanwhile, there are for video so I will be switching to other video podcasts because of your poor planning. You should have dedicated dev teams for each product code base. You would see better usage if the product didn't suck. This app on xbox feels like it was sub contracted out to college kids... Though that is offensive to college kids. On second thought, that might actually be a better solution to what you've produced here to date.

FIX THIS ISSUE!!!! THIS IDEA WAS POSTED IN SEPTEMBER, CMON! How do you WATCH The Joe Rogan Podcast on Xbox? Everything is off YouTube and The Xbox app doesn’t show any of the video! wth?

Almost through January 2021 and I'm still watching the JRE on youtube. Rewinds only. How is this still an issue? I can't watch it on my Xbox or laptop since the exclusive spotify deal went into place despite having a spotify premium account. I'm not going to hold my phone up for 3 hours to watch the whole podcast. Get it together spotify

Btw Spotify, if you wonder why many people are STILL using YouTube to watch Joe Rogan podcasts instead of Spotify which you are clearly pushing HARD, this is the primary reason.  Because YouTube allows users to actually watch them on their TVs.  Why on earth would people stop using YouTube for a downgraded, non-video version on Spotify?
