armhf Spotify library for DIY projects

Me and many others have bought inexpensive ARM based hardware for media center use. Sadly most Linux distributions for these platforms are built with hardware floating point calculation only, and the Spotify library for ARM is software only.

Would you be kind enough to compile an armhf version of libspotify for us? Based on the number of orders on the Raspberry Pi platform alone I would expect the potential number of Premium service users of this library to be 100.000+.

Any news on a whether or not this might happen?? Setting up a media server on my rpi so would like to know if its worth keeping my spotify account for the time being? If it does happen is it likely to be available in the next few months or would we be looking at later next year to get this sorted?

As a general rule, Spotify don't do release dates. Until we hear otherwise, just have to sit and wait.

Id never have to turn on my laptop and hook it to my speakers just to use Spotify

And I bet other people would replace their stuff with a Raspberry Pi as well (it's low power)
