ADD AIRPLAY 2, SPOTIFY IS LOSING USERS

I’m not too sure what the issue is, spotify being a billion dollar company and one of the leaders in the music streaming industry.

WHY IS THERE NO AIRPLAY 2 SUPPORT?! 

its 2024, airplay 2 came out years ago and yet you still haven’t implemented it into the software everyone uses on a daily basis. 

please make this a priority. it’s been years. stop beating around the bush saying “we’ll get to it in the future” get to it now. 

and to people commenting saying i’m “whining” please seek mental health help immediately

+100 - long time subscriber but I just cancelled my Premium subscription because Spotify plays like **bleep** on my HomePod and I got sick and tired of the years of delays.

I also finally cancelled my premium subscription a few weeks ago after waiting for years for Spotify to implement this. It's so ridiculous. Back to Apple Music. I will HAPPILY resubscribe the minute they implement AirPlay 2. Get it together, Spotify!

I cancelled my premium subscription because of this, too. Airplay 2 was released in 2018! Apple Music is great. I'm loving it.

Also a long-time customer who just recently cancelled Spotify in favour of Apple Music given the lack of AirPlay 2 or HomePod support. I'm shocked this is still not implemented and considered a "new suggestion" per this thread. 

Sadly, Apple Music is taking over as the better option for many reasons.

Have been subscribed to Premium for years, but I'm going to switch to Apple Music. This just shows their disregard for their users, and in the long run it will only get worse.

Quitting after my plan ends. They don't have plans to follow through on airplay 2 and it's a childish non-revenge on apple music.

To Spotify: you don't make the music and you don't own the music, and we can switch if we like, and actually we do. You're replaceable.

For those who are still waiting for airplay 2: no, they won't do it. So say good bye and move on.
