Add/remove a song from your liked songs with the press of one button! (heart icon)

Please, can we go back to the user’s having the ability to add/remove a song from your liked songs with the press of one button? It’s down right frustrating that we have to now press three different buttons to do this one simple and critical task. The “heart” symbol on the screen in the bottom corner of the song playing was perfect. No idea why this changed, or how on earth I’m the only user to be inconvenienced to the point of taking the time to write this post lol.

Why don't we have a hotkey to like a song at least? This would have been beneficial for external applications/extensions to be capable of liking a current song as well. Say, you have a mouse or keyboard with extra buttons and, when you hear a song you like, instead of tediously looking for the app and doing extra steps, you just press/click a button wherever you are and that's it.

This is just a silly reform. Now it seems we have to take the old version and remove the new one. What about the songs downloaded to the device? I have a huge amount of songs downloaded on my mobile phone.

I totally agreee with everything!! Please give this post votes!!

And if you feel so inclined please vote my suggestion to add the heart back and keep the + here as well!

Agree. The mobile UI changes are strange and inconvenient. I keep hiding songs when I go to like them because the hide button has a similar placement to where the like button used to be.

I miss the heart button in the playlists as well. I can no longer see what songs I liked in the past. Also, I can no longer like a song from within waze (Android). If I'm driving I cannot open Spotify and push several butons. I just want to tap "like" and be done.

I really hate not being able to see on the playlist which songs I've marked I like.

Have to try another service.

Can I please have the heart back. Like the others have already pointed out, we use to distinguish which songs we "super" like within the playlist.

I figure brain-damaged changes like this come from some newbie middle-manager who just has to leave his mark so he hikes his leg and urinates all over something that used to be great. Just so you know he was there.

How many votes is this going to need to get fixed? The annoying DJ has a billion votes against him but yet he continues to exist (from what I hear as I don't use that feature at all because of him).

Maybe someone could create a browser plugin that would automate things at Spotify so the UI won't stink?

Having to go through a multi-step process to remove songs that you longer want in your library is mind-numbingly frustrating. I would like to have the option to click one button and done.

The best way to do this you might ask...? Use Spotify on a game console or in the car. What a joke.

I recently restored an old laptop, hoping that the UI was different than mobile. Nope. Same old song and dance.

Seriously, just let me remove the songs with a quick-click. Dumb.
