I know we can't pick and choose what ads to see, but at least for a teensy bit of decency (especially for people listening to spotify in a professional work environment) can we not have half naked Victoria's Secret super sexy models?

Personally, I could care less about ads. And in fact, I am a woman who shops at Victoria's Secret. Still- I just had an awkward moment with some coworkers AND my boss. I'd like very much for that not to happen again. In the very least, how about an image that isn't half the size of the window? 

I know no one's going to agree, and believe me, I'd be the last person to complain about spotify (it's awesome). But seriously, it's a bit much.

I pay for premium yet still get ads on podcasts. Yet those adverts I cannot filter in any way. Due to triggering advertisements that play over and over, alcohol, gambling, and weight loss pills adverts in particular are those I want to filter out. Most other apps and platforms these days allow a level of ad customisation. Since I pay for premium I cannot filter any advertisements, I want this to change. Please allow me to filter out the ads that do not appeal to me, or in many cases leave me deeply distressed. I am considering leaving Spotify entirely due to this being such a distressing thing for me, and have talked to Spotify agents who have tried there best to help, but ultimately have no way to help filter these ads out.

Please Spotify, if you are going to put ads in your premium service, please let me filter them!

I pay the premium to have no ads and lately there are many annoying ads that shouldn't appear for those who pay Spotify. Do something. Many people will leave Spotify because of this

Hi Spotify Team and Community,

I love using Spotify to listen to religious and spiritual playlists — especially during prayer, fasting, or quiet reflection. However, the ads can really break the atmosphere and make it harder to focus.

I understand ads are necessary for free accounts, but I’d like to suggest an option where users could mark a playlist as religious/spiritual, and either:

1. Get fewer or more respectful, quieter ads, or
2. Temporarily have ad-free listening (even just a few skips per day) for those playlists.

This could mean a lot to people who use Spotify for prayer, worship, meditation, or religious study. Even a small option to reduce disruption would be deeply appreciated.

Ads need to be in line with music station so I don't continually get startled awake when I'm listening to a 528 Hz station while trying to go to sleep 😡

When I play children's music for my 4-year-old son, I often get ads for Durex condoms and/or dating sites. I find this highly inappropriate. I think with today's technology, it would be easy to adjust the ads to the age range of the music.
