The amazon fire we have is mainly used by our 6 year old daughter. She's got her own profile here so she's got related app for her she. Since Spotify Kids was just released it would be ideal to make it available in the Amazon AppStore

 I'm a loyal user and parent, once again requesting that Spotify Kids be added to the Amazon Appstore. Many families, including mine, use Amazon Fire tablets and other devices, and having Spotify Kids on this platform would make it more accessible, safer, and convenient. This aligns with Spotify's mission to provide "music for everyone" and would expand your user base. Please consider this request to support diverse family needs.

TLDR: Please for the love of Spotify throw parents a bone and add Spotify Kids to the Amazon App Store!!!

From this idea and its history, this is useless. As a professional in software development myself, a product owner doesn't care about this or there is 0 transparency why it can't done. This is why spotify will eventually lose my over 10 year (maybe 15 year) family subscription when my kids have learned to utilize other services they become accustomed to them on their devices and stations they enjoy and can easily ask alexa or google for. And as they age and gravitate to trendy tech and ecosystems, another service may win despite whatever I think. It'd be great to see some or any comment from Spotify on this one given it's upvoted level. Whats further unfortunate, I upvoted and looked this one up when my 1st child was 3. She's soon turning 8 and my 4 year old similarly confused on getting favorite stations to play.

As a PO myself I totally understand why this feature is not making it on the roadmap. 

Although the vote count is probably still a factor, but not the main one, it gives a feeling of involving the community.  Ultimately this feature is just a nice to have and thinking in broader terms, it is not even Spotify's responsibility to add anything extra on a horrendous highly proprietary Amazon AppStore.

Retrospectively, I should have invested more money to buy a proper Android device.

I have given up. Currently rolling out old iOS devices to the kids. These are mostly still capable of running Spotify Kids. I would have liked to also move away from Spotify as well. Feels more and more like en$htification. But Apple Music does not yet have something comparable to Spotify Kids. Im not sure who is to blame here. I imagine Amazons App Store has some weird restrictions around kids content apps and Spotify was too lazy to comply. Would be nice to get some insights here from the Spotify people. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Pretty nuts this is not done yet. I am learning if I want this to work I'll have to do some google play sideloading mess.

I was going to upgrade to Spotify Family subscription, but I will not be doing so now. There is no point if my kids cannot listen on their own devices.
