Allow parents/family account owner to block video content on minors account

As a parent of two minors and due to the amount of garbage available on the internet nowadays, it should be allowed to the family account owner/parents to block every single content they find not suitable for their children (in this case to block vídeo content). It's unbelieveble that this option is unavailble in Spotify at current times. Please make this happen! Many thanks. Regards.

This is a paramount idea that should have been a feature from the beginning.  Because Spotify doesn’t allow the blocking of videos.. Spotify ends up in the “controlled apps” list where my teen only gets 3 hours allowed of usage.. guess which one my teen is gonna choose… yup.  YouTube will be chosen for that 3 hour allotment.

I completely agree. As soon as my kids started developing their own music tastes we were happy to buy the family account. Kids Spotify accounts are really only relevant for younger kids (under 5). I’m outraged that they can now watch inappropriate YouTube/TikTok videos on this platform. This is NOT what we signed up for. As parents we should be able to turn off this feature but we can’t. Because of this I will cancel the subscription and move to Apple Music. Sorry Spotify but you need to introduce some safety mechanisms here. You’re prioritising profits over child protection. So disappointing…

Seriously. We switched from Pandora to Spotify to filter out explicit songs and now my teen has access to absolute garbage via podcast and videos. Zero reason to refer to it as a Family Plan. We're going to cancel our subscription. No parent should have to choose between a toddler bedtime rhymes account and access to **bleep**.

Nous avons choisi Spotify pour son accès à la musique. Cependant, l'interface actuelle de l'application est encombrée par des podcasts audio et vidéo, ainsi que des livres audio, ce qui détériore l'expérience utilisateur pour ceux qui souhaitent simplement écouter de la musique.

En tant que parent, je souhaite que mes adolescents n'aient pas accès aux podcasts, et idéalement à aucun contenu non autorisé, similaire à d'autres plateformes comme YouTube. Malgré le filtrage des contenus explicites, mes adolescents peuvent accéder à des vidéos inappropriées, alors que des morceaux de musique contenant des jurons sont bloqués.

Je souhaite que Spotify propose une application dédiée uniquement à la musique, pour les mélomanes comme nous.
