Allow user to view personal "skip count" of songs in our playlists

General

Allow the user to view how many times they've skipped a particular song.

Features

- Add a column in the songs list that shows "Skips" or "Skip Count"

- Allow user to sort by skip count

- Skipping a song would increment the skip count of that song

Uses

- Helps you find songs that are candidates to remove from a playlist or offline-listening.

- Driving in the car and skipping a song would be a non-effort way to remind yourself that you may want to remove that song later

- Learn through data what you don't like in particular songs

- Perhaps Spotify can suggest "Hey you've skipped this song X times, would you like a break from it?" to play the song less or remove it from the playlist

This is a feature that I used heavily in Apple Music. It helped keep my playlists fresh and exciting.

How many votes does it need to be considered?

My liked songs go back over a decade, and so there is some music I don’t want to get rid of entirely because it’s nostalgic etc, but also don’t fit my current music taste very well. It would be great to be able to filter my music to what I’ve added only within the past few years, and/or to filter out music that I skip often. The reverse would also be true - if I wanted to listen to music that’s a throwback to a certain time period in my life, I could choose to play music I saved during that time.

I would love to be able to see how often I listen to or skip a song in my playlists! It would make it easier for me to remove songs that I don't like to listen to anymore! Even if the info is only released in a Spotify wrapped (once a year) style, it would still be great to be able to clean out a playlist every once in a while.

Personally, I only have patience to add new songs to existing playlists, without filtering out songs I don't listen to anymore. What usually happens is that I skip songs I don't like anymore, and finally my will breaks after multiple months of song skipping - I transfer songs into a new playlist (that I like) and delete the previous playlist.

Using AI tools, Spotify could monitor my habits (songs I skip frequently / songs I put on repeat / songs that I don't like playing one after another etc...), and every once in a while, offer me a option to update my playlist by a click of a button.

Thus, I can get a spring cleaning effect every once in a while with AI doing the heavy lifting.
