An option to opt for playing songs as audio or video version, if available

It would be great if there is some setting to select if audio version of songs are played or video versions, by default. And app only switches to another version if prefered version is not available. For me, I prefered to listen to audio version mostly, Rarely do I watch video of songs. So it's really irritating to change to audio version everytime a song plays as a video. And I feel songs are best listened in audio version. Video version often have background noised or cuts that I don't want to listen everytime I listen to a song.

I find that songs played from my phone through my Roku streambar cut out after a minute or two if the video version is playing. Would be really helpful if I could default them all to audio versions.

Some songs are also just not suitable for viewing the music video. E.g., Prodigy's Smack my **bleep** up.
Having the radio edit play will give a "clean" version of the song. The Spotify version will include music video "story" with drugs and full-on frontal nudity. While I don't mind this at home, it is not something I want to be shown in an open office setting.

Whenever I turn on Spotify on my TV, it always defaults to playing music videos and displays video thumbnails when browsing. Even after switching to audio mode, if I switch between devices and reconnect to the TV, it forgets my settings and automatically resets to playing music videos as the default.

I would love to see an improvement in this experience. Please consider adding a toggle option like ‘Default to Music Videos?’ so users can choose whether videos play automatically or not after logging into Spotify on TV and big screens.

This would make the platform much more user-friendly, allowing those who prefer an audio-only experience to avoid constant manual switching. Thank you, and I hope this feature can be implemented soon!"

Same here, I find it infuriating that every single song I have to select the audio version rather than the music video. From what I can see Spotify only has an option to turn videos off in some regions???? For me at least, withing a Samsung in Aus, I don't have this option, and it's rather frustrating given the amount of money you have to pay per month for premium.

The app is ruined from this, YouTube is free for god's sake. I will not be renewing my family plan.
