Block artist so they don't show up on playlists

There are artists that you promote that i don't want to hear. how do i dislike an artists so they don't ruin my mood?

Yes, this! I want to block a bunch of artists and even genres. I also wanna block podcasts from showing. Please introduce blocking.

I'd like to b able to hide podcasts that I don't wish to see popping up either on my list or just randomly picking to play when one ends (basically while I'm working and don't really have a lot of time to flip through my phone to find the next one I want to listen to...

same, i sometimes dread opening spotify, because i get mad at the unpersonalised recommendations that spotify is clearly getting paid to show to me despite being a premium user (which apparently doesn't really hide ads after all)

Hello! This function is already present in the application, go to the profile of the artist you want to block, click on the 3 dots (near the "subscribe" button) and click "do not include tracks of this artist", there should be similar instructions on your PC.

In the web app you open the artist's page and click in the extra options button:

If there is an option in the native apps, it's probably also in the artist's page
