Bring back "New episodes"

You removed New Episodes from our home library and said it would be under Podcasts, but it's not. Now I have to go through every single podcast to find the new episodes.

When I opened the spotify app this morning to download any new episodes from my favourite podcasts in My Library, I found a note from spotify where my New Episodes feed would be to say this was now not part of My Library and that I needed to go to Home to find new episodes. So now I have to scroll endlessly through my home page to find the banner new episodes of podcasts, and then I have to open each episode individually to then click again to download them. Then when I go back to the homepage it takes me back to the top again and I have to scroll down the page AGAIN to find new episodes and go through the process each time. It was a stupid change and I don't understand why you would make it so much harder for users than previously. How is this beneficial?

This change combined with the Create button in the bottom right made me seriously consider switching to a different service for the first time ever. They are piling the straws onto the camel’s back.

I have the same opinion. It is incomprehensible to me how such illogical and UX-hostile decisions can be made.
Removing the “New episodes” from the library and moving it to the front page, but also removing the function in the library to listen to the 3 most recently started podcasts, is simply incomprehensible. After more than 10 years as a customer, I'm also considering switching. I have no idea what got into Spotify...

I use Spotify for podcasts and music every single day. The removal of the new episodes playlist has made using the app extremely inconvenient for mobile and for CarPlay. I have now started using Apple Podcasts for my podcast needs and will be looking into other apps for music. Extremely disappointed as a loyal Spotify premium user.

Spotify just removed the "new episodes" playlist and shows that it has been replaced by podcast - followed. Besides the fact that this is now 2 clicks away from the home page it does keep all episodes of followed shows *including* the ones that have been played. This way it is really nasty to find out what has not been played yet.

So either return the "new episodes" playlist, which was good, or proper filter options.

Just like the replacement of "like" with a + (which ruind my way ofd discovering new songs) and readding bugs over and over again this app is really anoying.

I've already complained about this in the help section. Stupid to remove this function. It was attempted in 2022 as well, which sparked a backlash, so it was reinstated. Yet here we are again. Absolutely imbecilic of you Spotify. TRY HARDER

Absolutely agree with this - new podcasts is the number one location I go to every single day on Spotify. I'm so annoyed I'm also considering apple podcasts even though I hate apple. Spotify has become more and more difficult to navigate. Why would I need a create button? Who asked for that? Give me ways to personalise my Spotify experience rather than taking the things I like away. I hate the lozenges on home and now I have to double lozenge to find new playlists (podcasts/following)

Losing the ability to remove played episodes makes Spotify much more annoying to use for podcasts

The new way of showing playlist episodes is in random order and way to large tiles for the dozens of podcasts I listen to.

Yes, this was the one feature other services and their apps lacked and why I didn't switch.

Please just bring the old "new episodes" back.
