Change/ Disable voice personality of AI DJ

As the title says, it would be a great feature if we could change or disable the voice or personality of the AI DJ.

Enable "AI DJ".

I won't be using a feature of "AI suggestions" until the feature includes suggesting and playing suggested music while remaining silent.

Any AI/LLM should not speak unless spoken to.

I like how the AI picks songs, but the voice has to go. It completely breaks the flow and mood, especially when I'm listening to ambient or chill tracks, and then it suddenly jumps in with something like, "Aiight, ima hit you up with somethin' you used to have in rotation back in '23, but haven't listened to in a while. Next up, it's Enya." It feels out of place and kills the vibe. 😕

The AI should also adapt its voice to the listener's preferred genre (just like how radio stations has different style of DJs). For example, the current voice works fine if someone mostly listens to urban/hip-hop/rap. But for ambient or classical, it should switch to a calm, soothing tone, or even a UK accent. If the listener is into heavy metal, it should sound like an aggressive metalhead. If they prefer female artists, the DJ voice could shift to female. And if it's 80s music, the AI should sound like a retro DJ from an 80s radio station, similar to GTA: Vice City. In other words, it's not enough to have the AI pick music but it itself should be different based on the user's song selections.

I can't believe the idea to include the DJ narrator made it through a product team at Spotify. It demonstrates a deep misunderstanding of their customers.

We all appreciate the song selection algorithm the DJ provides. Well done. But nobody - I mean NOBODY - wants or needs a virtual DJ to explain the song selections and interrupt the listening flow. Awful idea.
