Change to remote after joining jam

The main way I use the Jam feature is to listen "remotely": usually listening in synch with my wife in different rooms in the same house. When joining a Jam, whether the remote listening option is even offered appears to be random (I think it thinks it knows when we're in the same room, based on how you join and whether a speaker is connected but it comes across as random) but sometimes we'll also start in the same room and then one of us will go to a different room. Once you've joined a Jam "in person", listening through the same device (intentional or not) it seems to be impossible to change to listening remotely or for one of you to change the listening device without affecting others or leaving the Jam. It's unintuitive and I've spent too much time messing about with it.

My request is simply to provide the ability for any member of a Jam to manage whether they are "in person" or "remote" after joining the Jam.
