[Connect] Crossfade on Spotify Connect

Please add Crossfade option while using Spotify Connect!!!

Why not have this option while using Connect???

Think of it, you use CONNECT when you want to send Spotify music to your sound system(i.e: CONNECT compatible Audio amplifier/receiver) when you're having a party. Wouldn't you want continuous playback in this kind of use??

I really do not understand why I would not be able to use this feature because I'm using the your streaming service with a compatible device which is partner with Spotify!!!

PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!! PLEASE!

I just realised this was originally logged as a requested feature over nine years ago in May 2016.

And it's status is currently "NOT RIGHT NOW"

I must say this is ridiculous. So many years adding sometimes useless/unnecessary features to the base app and the developers could not find a few weeks/months to schedule this feature, which has 18 pages of responses?

People spend thousands on audiophile level active speakers and yet a basic feature to truly utilise them in specific scenarios renders them useless.

The alternatives would be to use Bluetooth and get lossy sound quality or use a wired connection from the phone. Both options render the listening experience to interruptions from calls, notifications, alarms, etc that occur on the phone.

If you can have cross fading and now Mixing on the phone, why is it so difficult to pass these songs with mixing parameters to Spotify Connect in order the play the music as the user wants to hear it?

It may not be the easiest of features to implement, but after almost ten years of requests, the bright s/w engineers at Spotify should be able to tackle this much, much needed feature.

Yes thats true. The new "Mix" feature is not working with spotify connect. It looks playlist is inthe mix mode, but the songs are playing without the auto(custom) mix. With using an audio system which is depending from spotify connect, this feature makes no sense. I've no bluetooth player and I'm not always using headphones. Hope this will change in future, because this makes no sense.
