Getting music sent in DMs

PLEASE get rid of this feature

When a song is sent in DMs, every time that song is played it says "from ___". I really don't want to see that every time I listen to a song. I feel like it would be good if it said that only when that song was directly played from the DMs, but not when it's in one of my own playlists or searched up. There's so much music I love but get reminded of people I definitely don't want associated with it just because they sent it to me at some point, which is really putting me off listening to music at all. Again, I do think it's a cute feature when the song is clicked on directly from DMs, but only in that case.

So I sent my friend a song through the Spotify messages and then they sent it back saying I love this song and I clicked on the song to listen again and now it always says "from *their name*" and I don't like it. Sorry for being petty dw I love Spotify it's ok.

After the update with social messaging, I’m now seeing who sent me a song in my now playing screen. I do not want this information visually linked. I don’t want to advertise who sends me what, and I don’t want to be reminded who has sent me what either. I also don’t want the songs I send putting my name on their Spotify device on going. If I knew that my name would attach to someone’s music player per song I sent for the last ten years, I would have made different choices. And I would also have made different choices on clicking on sent songs.
Please allow for me to ignore social when listening to music, which should transcend the person who sent it, not be tainted by it. I prefer privacy. Please bring me the capacity to send people music privately. I was pleased to see the history, privately, but upset to be forced toward a connection in general listening. It makes me want to avoid music instead of train my brain to move on.  Please don’t make social any harder to endure than it already is.  Thank you.

The new feature that shows who sent you a song when you’re playing it (“from ___”) is going to cause drama with exes. Please make this optional not automatic

I think it should only be able to see the “from part” with songs from people you follow.

YESSSS this is so stupid like what if you partner sends you a song and you breakup but you still like the song right then now ever you get that song showed to you YOU PARTNERS NAME IS THERE!!!  I HATE this feature please get rid of it
