Increase Pin Count (Only 4... Really?)

The idea that users are limited to 4 pins is wild! It's simply not enough. I may not use the service like most users - I make a unique playlist every month that catalogs yearly, I make playlists for people in my life, I have a playlist for work, and another for driving; I make short daily playlists, I make album re-work playlists, etc

Some playlists might be in progress or just one's I'm stuck on and switching between. Often, I want like 10 of those readily accessible - pinned right up top in a certain order. I understand that one can set their playlist order to recent and that should basically suffice - sometimes. But I simply want the ability to have a fixed number of playlists always at the top.

So, please increase the pin count...

I understand the number of 4 - to try and increase focus and priority. But offering users the option to have more pins available will only add to the experience of those who will use it and only potentially enhance the others experience. I think up to 8 is fair. Thoughts?

I just wonder if it's a technical issue or a deliberate one, so that they will introduce a paid feature to have more than 4. I just want unlimited pins!

Agree with this. If people need more pinned lists they should be able to pin them freely. The others who don't need can stay with 4. I don't understand the meaning of this restriction. Hope they will fix this issue.

I agree with anthonycruz's suggestion to increase the pin limit on Spotify. For users who create and manage a lot of playlists, the current limit of four is restrictive. Expanding the pin count to 8 would give users more flexibility without overwhelming the interface.

This issue has been tracking for YEARS! What the heck, Spotify? Four pins? This seems so trivial. The ensh*tification of the internet continues.

100% agree. I need at least 8. Please make it easier to pin. It’s a great way to make a note to go back to listen to a quick discovery in full length. Make Spotify feel like listeners are in control, and can make our experience like listening to our record collection at home.
