[LightOS] Support Lightphone 2

I've been using Spotify for years and I recently have moved to a more minimalist type of "smart" phone called LightPhone 2. I just wish there was a way to download spotify music and podcasts to my phone.

Is there any word on this? I would love to drop my phone and pickup a light phone but spotify is the only thing holding me back really.

Having a minimal version of Spotify that can function with a Light Phone is a necessity for public health! Please consider how much this would positively impact Spotify users

Just wanted to add my two-cents in the hopes that this idea gains enough momentum. I'm on the verge of switching over to the Light Phone 2. However,  I wouldn't want that to mean forgoing Spotify, which I've used for close to a decade now and is arguably the greatest music and podcast service out there. A minimal digital ecosystem for an optimal, distraction-free listening experience—seems like a win-win to me! The world needs options, the option to tune out the noise in order to be present, to appreciate more deeply; surely, this would be a step in that direction.

Love my lightphone but haven't been able to ditch the smart phone completely (yet) one reason being my music. I use my smart phone as a ipod currently. I download the playlist I want so I can listen to it without data in my car. This was why I am was so stoked for Car Thing to come out...  until I saw that you still need your smart phone for it to work. What a bummer! If they can fix it to where it would work without need for a smart phone that would be a major step forward.

My smartphone is a such a burden these days. The only thing keeping me from switching to something simpler is Spotify, it's the only app I know I would miss.

I would LOVE to have a light phone with some access to Spotify, even if it were a much simpler interface than the normal Spotify app!

As a Light Phone user, I have since canceled my premium membership as I cannot take my music on the go with me anyway. I'd be very open to upgrading again for that functionality on a Light Phone II.
