[LightOS] Support Lightphone 2

I've been using Spotify for years and I recently have moved to a more minimalist type of "smart" phone called LightPhone 2. I just wish there was a way to download spotify music and podcasts to my phone.

Spotify is the best music streaming platform, and having it on the LP2 would be a game-changer.  it’s the only thing I’m waiting for to make the switch.  Additionally, it would give Spotify the advantage of being the only music streaming platform on that device (zero competition).  If Spotify was on the Light Phone, I’d absolutely pay for Premium (as I’m sure many others would).

My primary reason for not switching to LP is because it doesn't have Spotify. I've been a user for as long as I can remember streaming music. Social media and app addiction is too much. I'm going to make the jump regardless, but I'd be extremely grateful if you did too.

Just started using the LightphoneII this week. My Spotify duo account with my wife will stay active for the time being, but I don't know how much longer I will continue paying for access when I can't use it. Please work with these folks or the fellas at Wisephone!

Also here because i to would love Spotify support on this device. A simple version would suffice. As a premium subscriber, I want my voice to be heard.

Any news? This is a simple request, its been almost three years since the last update from Spotify. Patience cannot be expected, this is outright ridiculous at this late point right? The idea was accepted three years ago, please can we get Spotify supported on Lightphone II?

Edit: My Lightphone II is shipping end of March, I'm ditching Spotify then because I will no longer have any use for it if I'm downloading files to my Lightphone instead.

I haven't been and won't be the only premium subscriber ditching Spotify if I'm forced to. I am disconnected from everything, have been with everything but the smartphone itself for over a decade. I just want to keep the easy access to music; like how the Lightphone retained GPS while ditching all other external connections, besides text and call.

As dumb phones continue to gain popularity, Spotify will be faced with losing Premium subscribers or supporting the phone to keep a significant portion of the Lightphone user base.
