[Mobile] Full Playlist Description

Dear Spotify, 

I have a feature request based on playlists.

Playlist Descriptions. I would like if you let playlist descriptions be longer and have a more button that pulls up the full description. There’s a photo provided on how it would look like.

I came here for the same issue only to find out it’s been the same way since 2020 😞

why let us write descriptions if they’re never going to be fully seen, it’s very frustrating.

When adding a description to your own playlist it would be nice to have that description show as a tooltip when mousing over that playlist in your library list to quickly identify what that playlist is. For example i usually describe my playlists something like "calm and relaxing songs" "songs from year-year" etc.

It's ridiculous that Spotify hasn't made a proper fix for this yet, but I discovered a solution that works on my Samsung at least: on the playlist page, press one finger anywhere in the space beneath the like, download, and triple dot buttons and hold your finger there (if you activate a pop-up for one of the tracks, keep holding down your first finger and use a second finger to press outside of the pop-up to dismiss it), then press a second finger on the playlist description and scroll up and down with that finger to view the whole description

Please fix this.. It doesn't even need voting, it's a bug and it needed to be fixed like all bugs in the app.

I primarily use Spotify on mobile and one of the most infuriating long standing issues that I have is being unable to read the full description of user made playlists. I don’t typically listen to the Spotify made for you playlists since they just rip from my liked playlist over and over again anymore, so in lieu of asking you guys to remove the ai playlists(since someone already did), I just want the option to be able to expand the text on playlist descriptions if necessary so I can read the whole thing. I actually do like seeing what other people describe their music tastes as and since the fun, wildly specific made for you playlists are no longer being made, at least give us this.

On different platforms, often most of the playlist description is cutoff. They're only allowed to be 300 characters anyways, it's ridiculous that this is happening. This is very bad UI design. Users should not have to scroll over or click the description to see the expanded version. Just print the whole thing!!!
