[Mobile] Get rid of 'Create' button on mobile navigation bar

I recently got the last update, and found that a fourth button was added to the bottom navbar. What's the point of this? It's in the way of entering 'Your Library' section, as this was the default spot for that button.

Besides that, does it really need to have a shortcut? How often do people create new playlists or blends? There's already a button for that in 'Your Library', so...

I think removing this button will improve UI.

the new settings to turn off + button on nav bar appears at [my profile icon click -> settings -> contents and display -> + button toggle on the bottom of the list]. I successfully removed via that menu.

I have never had an update that irritated me so much I complained about it. I literally went out of my way to set this up so I could say GIVE US A WAY TO GET RID OF IT!!!! I hit it so much by accident and there is literally no need for it when we can just create through our library tab, and I have zero desire for a bot created playlist!

I’d like the ability to reorder the home bar icons in the iOS app. The new update added the “create” button to the far right of the home bar, where the “library” button has lived for over a decade. Users should be able to reorder these icons in a way that suits their use.

I could not agree more. Library button is the most used icon in the app for me, very bad idea to move it. Constant GUI “improvements” are very annoying.

Strongly agree with this. Tell your Product team to stop changing things for the sake of it. It's ruining the UX of the app and you've probably just wrecked millions of people's muscle memory.

I am a frontend and mobile software engineer.

And holy sh*t, this would never pass at our company.

At least a dozen of sane people would reject such an idea of placing an action button on a place where people have a muscle memory.

Stuff like that belongs simply in the middle of the navbar, that is common knowledge in the frontend world! You don't need more than two braincells to understand this.
It is insane how this is allowed at Spotify. Pure incompentence on the whole team.
