If you use Google Chrome you can get the audiovisualizer extension. It's free and works a treat. Because Chrome can be installed on a PC or Mac device, anyone can use it. 

Mostly you'll use the 'Butterchurn Scene'. Then you select the preset. If you're like me you'll have endless fun tinkering with this. I can place the settings anywhere within multiple screens. audiovsualizer extension works in window or fullscreen mode. 

Butterchurn has its own extension available. It's better if you just want to hit the 'space bar' to change presets, rather than picking from your settings
