Organize albums, playlists, and artists into folders in Library

I want to be able to sort albums, artists, and playlists into folders within my Library. Tags could work too.  For example, I’d like a “Work” folder where I can put the classical music and lofi albums I’m currently listening to while I work. This would help me organize and narrow down to the different albums and artists I listen to depending on what I’m doing, feeling, etc. Relatedly, I’d love to be able “pin” albums or playlists to the top of my library or homepage - almost to recreate the visor CD holders we all had in our cars back in the day.

I was just going to post this! With this, I can create a collage with the playlists of instruments that I play. For instance, I have a guitar playlist, percussion playlist, banjo playlist, and a playlist of songs that I jam out to with others. It would be great to put those into a collection to clear up space and have everything where I want it.

I see the option to do this in my playlist management and make heavy use of it but the Spotify UI doesn't make it easy and this really needs to work better.

Spotify has the "pin" feature already! I just discovered it. Tap and hold down the playlist, and a "pin" option will appear. So helpful especially when in car

This option has been available on the desktop app forever! Check it out at https://open.spotify.com/ (I use it all the time, it is indeed so convenient)

You can edit the folders as you want, put one in another, you can even play a whole folder to mix up the playlists together!

You can still see them on the phone, you're just not able to edit them.

Maybe update your idea to being able to create/edit folders directly from the phone?

Presently just playlists can be added to folders, not Albums or Artists. Fixing that would be awesome
