Pin song to the top of playlist / like songs

It would be great to have a pinning feature where we can pin a song to the top of a playlist or liked songs. Example - if we have a song already on a playlist and we’ve “rediscovered” it and want to listen to it more often, but don’t want to scroll to find it deep in our existing playlist. This way we can easily find the song and we can further customize our experience by switching out pinned songs.

Yes I would love this, thank god im not the only one with this idea. It happens often where I'm listening to my liked songs on shuffle and have the urge to like a song again, just to get it back on the top of my list. I wish we could pin songs or make some sort of a current favorites list or something like that.

In every Playlist you should can fix a song, like you can fix Playlists in your bibliothek. So you have the songs you like the post on top of every playlist. With no limed or a limed of 10 songs you can fix per playlist, also you should can fix a song on an artists profile you like. Like you open the artist profile and if you fixed a song from him in a playlist it came up in his profile also as fixed or pined. or you add an extra section on the artist profile like you already have it for the songs you favorisize from the artist. On top with all fixed songs from all playlists you have you creat a Pinned-Songs playlist, with updates every time you pin another song or de-pin / fix one. Also this can help for the algorithm to see with songs the person wants to listen to more currently.

I just thought about this 30 seconds ago:

you should be able to pin up to 4 songs in a created playlist, similar to how you can pin a playlist to your library. if y’all do this idea… PLEASE contact me, email me, call me, show up at my house with flowers and chocolates. i don’t care but it would be awesome to hear from you and see this idea work. i have been using spotify for 10 years this year, and it has helped me more than yall could ever know.

I have a bunch of songs in my liked songs and I often find myself awkwardly unliking a song to then re-like it to to get it to the top of my list. It'd be cool if you could maybe long press the check mark button, maybe it makes a popping sound and boom its at the top of your list. 😁
