I have been hoping for a playlist song limit increase for some time and would imagine that an increased limit should be a given for premium subscribers. I'm not entirely sure what back-end database management issues would arise if all users got an increase, but even doubling the song limit to 20,000 for premium subscribers would be something I'd appreciate. I have a playlist of old/ancient/period/world music, sort of an early music museum titles The Elder Days, that I have been building since 2015 that reached the limit last year, so now when I find albums or artist discographies I'd like to add, I have to go in and first clean up unavailable music and then hand select music to trim to make room. It sorta sucks having to comb through 10,000 songs that were deliberately picked for this playlist and put them on the chopping block.

Your 9,900 track playlist opened in no time on my computer. Doubling the size shouldn't be a problem.

A Music has 100 000 limit on lists, so Spotify is way behind.

I like to have all my music inside a playlist, and this playlist has reached 10.000.

I would like to keep adding songs in this list but support told me there is a 10.000 song limit in playlists.

Could it be possible upgrading playlists to have a 20.000 - 50.000 song limit?

Why does it matter how many songs I have in my playlist, there should not be a limit of songs.

I would like to have more than 10k songs in my playlist. I don't believe its fair to cap it out.

Sooooo, as of the posting of this comment on 7/24/2023, come Aug. the cost of a Premium subscription is increasing because HOORAY CAPITALISM!

This will definitely mean Spotify is going to increase its 10k song limit restriction per playlist that has been complained about for years will now be raised, right?

Well so, recently i have reached the limit on my playlist "This is what i am", wich as it names indicates it contains all the stuff i like, listen to, and get inspiration from.

Hopefully i will be a new artist soon (fingers crossed), and i consider this playlist to be very important, cause it´s a playlist filled with lots of dieferent kinds of music, a perfect playlist to put the ramdom mode on and discover new things, although it´s  filled with only stuff that i personally like.  Is also a way for me to hear freash things and not be listening over and over again to only  a small part of the artists of my librery.

Sorry if all that i said sounded a bit like self promotion, but is the explenation of how i ended up here.

So my message is:  people that have voted in this post before, please share it with others and also the existens of spotify community, cause even i myself didn´t even know this existed.

The "ideas" system is reaaaly bad. Same or similar ideas are separated with separated votes, and they don't realize. I don't know if this issue has to do with it, but another idea going around for years now is the "Play all library" button that EVERY music player has, but no one cares.

10000 limits are so nineties. Current devices are more than capable of handling thousands of songs.
