Do you think the optimal way to improve services and systems is “limited”?

Are you out of your mind?

This kind of "limitation" is not a way to improve

You're falling down the value of Spotify

I have the same Problem ist only 5 lines of Lyrics For every Song please someone send a fix

I am hard of hearing and a paying premium member. I have supported Spotify for years, but this change is extremely disappointing. I understand that lyrics are available for free on various websites and search engines, but limiting access to lyrics within the platform is just another hoop that people with disabilities have to jump through to get equitable access. To lock it behind a paywall is another slap in the face. If you are going to require payment for access to lyrics, at least hire a qualified captions team to write accurate and time-synced lyrics on the majority of your music.

Do better Spotify.

There are many other ways to get people to get premium spotify but take away a persons abilty to read the lyrics to their favorite songs is wrong definitly not the way to go casue people have other apps to see lyrics without having to pay for it (YouTube).
What if you had custom spotify playlist by Spotify and pay wall them yes people can make their own but its easier for them to see the playlist and know what they are buying. but taking away the ability to read the lyrics to a persons favorite songs.
Thats a bit to far especially for people with language barriers.

This is kind of stupid. Lyrics are a big part of the music, man. If someone can't understand what they are saying, or can't hear very well, the transcribed lyrics are a big help. Removing them is kind of crazy

Bug2

Please why. Cant I look at the damn lyrics it made sense when u couldn’t pick ur songs whatever u had to play shuffle play when u didn’t have premium but wth is this monthly**bleep** it’s ridiculous how will I learn my songs 😾

Rasthro

I agree with you! I decided to just quit using Spotify and switch to YouTube Music until I got an offer from Microsoft Rewards where I could get Spotify Premium for free for 3 months and I applied the offer and got the subscription. But after 3 months if I can't continue my subscription then I'll not use Spotify for as long as either I don't have Premium or lyrics are behind the paywall.

This is the dumbest thing that Spotify had ever done. At first, it was an experiment but then they actually did it! I think they went crazy and put lyrics behind the paywall!

Rasthro

At first, I thought it was just an "experiment" and this year I can't believe they went crazy and actually put lyrics behind the paywall! I think it's better if lyrics went free again, because this is causing a lot of criticism right now. If Spotify is crazy enough to put lyrics behind paywall, then he could be even crazier enough and put some of the songs WE like behind the paywall and make it a "Premium Song", or even worse, the entire app would be behind the paywall!

Again, it's much better if lyrics could be free again, I don't really like what Spotify had done with the lyrics.

How is Pandora doing it then?

LITERALLY !! I find it hard to actually hear the propper lyrics in songs and often just watch the lyrics while I listen which I can’t do anymore, at this point I’ve had to look af the lyrics on google while spotify is in the background which can get really annoying
