Smart shuffle without the shuffle

Have you ever gone into your playlist and decided you want to try out some new music so you turn on smart shuffle. But your realize it’s shuffling in the bad song from the old parts of your playlist. I think Spotifys solution is to make smart shuffle but without the shuffle. It would play your songs in order but add a recommended song in every so often. I also think of this was incorporated you should have the option to turn off start shuffle and whatever this new feature would be called. For example AirPods. When you hold the button it switches between off, noise cancellation, transparency mode. Spotify could incorporate this for the shuffle button.
