[Sonos][Partnership] Spotify and Sonos Voice Control (native)

Hello,

Sonos released their own virtual assistant called Sonos Voice Control.  The service is integrated with Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Sonos Radio, but not Spotify.  Spotify is my families preferred platform, but I need this integration to work for some specific uses in my house.  Please work with Sonos to connect Spotify to their assistant.

I've got to be honest here – I'm really bummed out and pretty surprised that we're still waiting on voice control integration. It's been ages, and it feels like we're stuck in the past while everyone else is moving forward. I mean, voice control is everywhere now, and it's weird that Spotify, of all apps, hasn't caught up yet.

I'm a huge fan of Spotify, and it's always been my go-to for music, but this is starting to get a bit frustrating. It's not just about keeping up with the Joneses; it's about making life easier for us users. We're living in a world where we talk to our gadgets for everything – turning on lights, checking the weather, you name it. So, when I want to switch tracks or play a playlist without picking up my phone, it feels like a no-brainer that I should be able to just ask Spotify to do it.

Seeing other music apps already rocking voice control makes me wonder what's holding Spotify back. It's not like it's some pie-in-the-sky tech; it's pretty standard stuff now. And it's not just me – tons of us have been asking for this. We're not looking for anything outrageous, just that little bit of modern convenience that we've all come to expect.

I really hope you guys can push this to the top of the to-do list. Spotify's always been the leader in music streaming, and it'd be a shame to let something like this slip through the cracks. We're all here waiting, ready to love this feature the minute it rolls out. So, let's make it happen, yeah?

Any update on this topic? It’s been nearly a year and Spotify still doesn’t work with Sonos Voice Control

Guys, just today I got a pop-up in my Sonos app that Spotify is now compatible with Sonos Voice Control. Unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot and it still shows as not compatible when I try to switch the default music service for voice control. Did anyone get the same one?

Update: got the pop-up on my other device, delivering the screenshots! Unfortunately nothing happened when I pressed the 'Learn More' button, so this might be an early release. For the record, I’m based in Poland.

Last update: My Sonos app now lets me pick Spotify as a default service with Sonos Voice Control 🎉
