Spotify Kids: Enable Offline Playback of Shared Playlists/Playlists

Hi Spotify Team and Community,

I really appreciate the Spotify Kids app and how it helps children discover and enjoy music safely. However, I would love to see an improvement regarding offline listening.

Currently, kids can only listen to their favorite songs offline. I think it would be very helpful if children could also download and listen offline to:

• Shared playlists created by parents or family members

• Playlists and albums suggested or featured within the Spotify Kids app

This would make it much easier for families to share music and for kids to enjoy more of their favorite content when they don’t have an internet connection.

It's currently not possible to like songs outside of the Spotify Kids' curated catalogue, however, we do appreciate you sharing your use case as it helps us improve the Spotify Kids app.

Not to resurrect a dead thread, but do you know if this functionality will become available at some point?  Since Spotify Kids restricts the ability to listen to songs offline to favorited songs and, because a kind can't favorite songs on shared lists, this means there is no way for that kid to listen to those songs offline.  That is a big use case restriction.

My kid can favorite (and therefore download) content that Spotify has blessed, but can't favorite and download content I curate for them?  This was not a good decision. This Idea isn't a feature request, it's a fix-a-design-flaw request. Please and with haste.

Hi, I'm likely going to cancel my family spotify plan if this isn't available. I bought a music player for this purpose.
