Spotify for VIDAA OS (Hisense) systems.

Hisense is a fairly popular TV brand in Australia and has fair sales worldwide, however... their TVs have recently adopted an operating system that Spotify does not support due to not being an Android build but rather it's own OS.

And by having Spotify on Hisense TVs would allow for an additional platform to be supported overall.

And until we wait for Spotify on VIDAA in my opinion best option right now is run Spotify on web browser, yeah it’s not 320kbit/s and no equalizer, but at least 256kbit/s (free account 128kbit/s). You can control music through phone Spotify app. Use it with Audio Only mode on TV. I’m not an expert in music quality but I can feel difference on my Samsung sound bar (optical cable) between Bluetooth and playing from web browser.

Please i am a spotify user for years and now i have a vidaa tv os and now i'm missing something since i can't find spotify on the app store. So please make it true, i really beg for this. There are many vidaa tv users out there that wait for spotify to be installed on their tv's.

Still no update? I have 2 Hisense Vidaa TV, all my mates and family have Hisense as well and we would really like to have Spotify on Vidaa instead of having to play through our TV boxes. 

Hisense is massive here in South Africa as they are manufactured locally.

Hisense are trying to be popular being official sponsor of Euro 2024 and in the same time they are missing major apps like Spotify and HBO this would not be a strong point if they are not added till the euro 2024

Long-time Spotify fan here! But I've hit a bit of a snag that's messing with my music flow. My go-to for tunes has become my Hisense TV, and it turns out, Spotify and Hisense aren't exactly playing the same tune. To bridge the gap, I reluctantly subscribed to YouTube Music, but it's just not cutting it for me.I even tried a workaround by opening Spotify in the TV's web browser, but now that's a no-go, too—just an error message every time. I really don't want this to be the deal-breaker with Spotify. It would be awesome if Spotify could make our TV jam sessions possible again. Here's hoping for a fix soon!
