I'm trying to build a MP3 player using raspberry pi and was looking into the documentation to build a client for Linux, and found a major flaw with my idea.

This Spotify player will only work when connected to the internet. I want to create a standalone device that can run Spotify at any time wirelessly. This would required to download songs and is currently against the Spotify guidelines.

@Spotify could you please allow the user to download songs and use it (auto delete after 2weeks works just fine). Would be really help full!
