Translate Lyrics to other languages

So my idea is that Spotify should add a lyric translation to songs. For example I listen to greek music and the writing all in greek I think that Spotify should have an option to translate the songs (English) so I can read and understand the songs. I think this would be useful people who also lyrics to Spanish would want lyrics translated to understand the song. Basically idea is to translate the song into the language you know and understand the words in song. Like this if you agree and think it’s smart!

Music is not only sound — it’s emotion, culture, and storytelling. Right now, Spotify shows synchronized lyrics, which is amazing, but many users cannot fully experience songs in languages they don’t speak.

I suggest adding AI-powered real-time translations (maybe even through a partnership with OpenAI or similar technology).

Why this matters:

• A song is a combination of lyrics, rhythm, and the way every syllable is sung.
• When we read synchronized lyrics, we can feel the exact intention of the artist — their tone, their emotion, their pronunciation.
• Searching for translations elsewhere is not the same: it disconnects us from the music.
• With in-app translations, listeners could follow word by word, in real time, making the experience even more magical and authentic.

This would open music across all cultures, helping fans worldwide connect more deeply with artists.

Choose  a language (Italian/French , etc )  on the displayed song text. Or have two separate windows, left original and right the translated. Thanks

I think it would be very helpful to have English (or your choice or language) translations to foreign language songs - I think it's especially topical with the rise of Latin American music

I'm sure it would be both a good language learning tool and move a bunch of traffic away from the likes of Google translate 

Seems like it would be an easy feature to integrate with AI capabilities

I love listening to French singers and the lyrics are there, but I wish there was a way of translating them into English so I could understand them.

As someone going through this and found an easy way other than just cutting and pasting and putting it into a translate app?
