[Your Library] 'Listen later' Button

Occasionally, I hear about a new album that seems interesting, but I'm at work or in a lecture and can't listen to it immediately. Ideally I'd like to be able to hit a button to mark that album and later, when I get the time, I can sit down and listen to all the things I've saved.

A friend introduces me to a song, or I hear a song in a bar, and I want to listen to it later, but I don't want to add it to my favorites or a playlist. So I would like to have a dedicated list for “listen later.”

Like how there is for YouTube videos, if you want to listen to it but don’t want to yet or just can’t, you can press “listen later” and have an album for it, like a watchlist on YouTube!

WhyEff

Hi,

I think listeners would benefit from a "listen later" playlist. I find myself listening to current playlists and, at the time, browsing other areas of Spotify to try and find new music. However, I wouldn't necessarily want to listen to that music at that moment.

Therefore, I think a Listen Later playlist would be really beneficial and enhance my listening experience. I think it should, at least, feature the following:

  • A playlist that can be configured to hold X amount of songs based on user preference
  • The ability for a user to set a specific reminder time for when Spotify push notifications would notify a user
    • This would only be active when someone adds a song to the playlist itself, otherwise people could be inundated with notifications and find it rather annoying
  • Once the user listens to the playlist, other songs can be recommended based off of this

Thanks!
