added a "play songs you rarely hear" and "play songs you often hear" button.

It seems like it would be fun if this button was added, because some of the listeners must have a playlist of songs that they like, so what if they want to hear a song that they rarely play on the playlist? The current options are only "shuffle", "repeat" "repeat 1". If this button can be realized, it will add their options to enjoy the song.

Good idea. I have saved songs and albums that I'd want to rediscover.

Just like 'On Repeat' rotates your most popular tracks in the past month, another playlist could be put in Made for You. Something like 'Hidden Gems', rotating saved tracks played least often.

Yes! I would love to hear songs that I haven't heard in a while. Shuffle sometimes overplays songs.

Or they could fix their terrible shuffle so it actually plays  all of the songs equally instead of favoring some songs

Doesn't it roll through all the songs when you don't repeat the playlist but only shuffle, thereby going through all the songs?

VengeanceFan7

Naerbo, You would think that's how it works, because that makes...sense... But Spotify does not roll through all songs when on shuffle. Trust me, I have one playlist that is over 3000 songs, I have head the same song multiple times without it going through all 3000 (yes I check for duplicates) Spotify shuffle is terrible and has some sort of algorithm that chooses what songs you listen to and what songs are popular, but it is a self feeding loop and now it only shuffles the songs it chooses to shuffle. I have abandoned using shuffle and resorted to listening to the playlist in order (spent 5 hours reordering it to be sudo random) Of the 3000 songs, on shuffle, I hear at most 500. Leaving most of my playlist in the dark. This is also why spotify does not show play counts on the songs, because it would highlight the music that they don't play.
