Hello guys!
A quarter of the way through 2017 already (I know!) - and already 2017 has some outstanding albums under its belt. I'd love to hear what your picks are!
Here's a template for sharing!
Album name: Locations: USA
Artist: The Jazz Jousters
Release date: 23 February 2017
This is the 5th session of The Jazz Jousters Locations series.
In this session, they decided to pick up music from jazz musicians from USA and to make instrumentals in their own style. The unique thing in the album is that they used jazz sounds from the 60's. The main focus is on the piano sounds, blended with chillhop like sounds. The result is awesome!

Motel Music, Pt.2 by Jimmy Whoo
A self-taught singer and producer, he composes and records almost everything solo. A fan of vintage gear, he composed the majority of Motel Music Part II with old keyboards, like a Korg Poly 800 II and a Yamaha DX7, throwbacks of the 80's brought into a contemporary form. I don't have a favourite, I love all of the tracks and i recommend you to listen to it from beginning to end. I hope you like it.
@krischanstclair all great picks!! i love the james blake features on mount kimbie and the social commentary of everything now
@BenitoKCM so good having a classic artist back in curtis harding, reminds me of this legend

Artist: Nic Cester
Album: Sugar Rush
Release Date: 3rd November
Genre: Psychedelia, rock, soul, funk
Best Songs: Psichebello, Eyes on the Horizion, Sugar Rush
Frontman of Jet, Nic Cester is back with a solo album and it sounds so completely different from his work with Jet. "Sugar Rush" surprised with how amazingly retro it all sounds and still manages in many ways to be quite modern. I love it!.
