NEØV’s origins go back to the late 90’s and a small town called Juankoski in Finnish Lakeland, an area with thousands of blue lakes and tree-covered islands. Two brothers Anssi and Samuli Neuvonen started making music together since early childhood, and after moving to the town of Kuopio, they formed the band Neufvoin, released a couple of sold-out ep’s, toured in Europe, went through some line-up changes and started a new life under the name NEØV. First of all Benjamin Schoos is Belgian. He is based in Brussels. He likes it there and describes it, with a display of astounding geographical awareness, as the centre of Europe. Which it is. Nearly. If you neglect to include Russia and its former states. Anyway, he takes advantage of this half-truth by floating around town like some butterfly of devilish intent, going to gigs, charming (and possibly drugging) whatever unaware and internationally successful visiting musicians he can find, before taxiing them back to his studio where crimes against music are flirted with and not always totally avoided.

Jesse Malin - New York Before The War ( 2015 )

Jesse Malin (born January 26, 1968 in Flushing, Queens, New York, U.S.) is a rock musician. He is currently a solo recording artist.
Malin began his music career, at the age of 12, as the front-man for the seminal New York City hardcore band Heart Attack. Following the demise of that band in 1984, Jesse worked on several other projects, including the band Hope, before joining glam punk band D Generation for which he was the lead singer for eight years. As one of New York City's most noted bands of the 1990s, D Generation released three albums, including No Lunch before eventually disbanding in April 1999.

Malin didn't stop writing music and went on to form two other projects, PCP Highway (with former D Generation bandmates Howie Pyro and Joe Rizzo) and Bellvue (also named Tsing-Tsing for a brief time); the latter band released one album, To Be Somebody on Goldenseal Records. The album included versions of songs that would later be reworked for Malin's first two solo albums, including Solitaire, Basement Home, Brooklyn and Downliner. ( Wikipedia )

Balthazar - Thin walls

Balthazar is a Belgian indie pop and rock group. The band consists of Maarten Devoldere, Jinte Deprez, Patricia Vanneste, Simon Casier and Michiel Balcaen. The band members come from the areas of Kortrijk and Ghent.
The group started in the second half of the year 2004. In the spring of 2005, Devoldere, Vanneste and Deprez (each eighteen years old at the time) won the national Kunstbende competition for young people with Lost and Found. On 3 December that year they also won Talent West, the rock contest of the province of West Flanders.

In 2006, Balthazar won Humo's Rock Rally KBC Audience. In August, their first self-titled debut EP was released. In early 2007, after sixty performances, Joachim Quartier bassist and drummer Koen Verfaillie were replaced by Simon Casier and Christophe Claeys, and Balthazar started with a brand new set. In July, Balthazar performed at the Dour Festival, which followed the release of their first single "This is a flirt". The single was picked up by Radio 1 and Studio Brussel and lingered through the summer in De Afrekening hitlist, with second place as the top listing.

In February 2008 Balthazar released their second single: Bathroom lovin ': situations. This time the song ended up in the lists of Humo, hotlist and De Afrekening. They played that summer at Folk Dranouter and Marktrock, among others. The band then started performing abroad, in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and France. In the summer of 2009, Balthazar went to South Africa for a club tour and then work on their first album. Upon return in the end of December 2009, the first single Fifteen Floors was release

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell ( 2015 )

Sufjan Stevens (American singer-songwriter and musician. He first came to wide notice with the 2000 album A Sun Came, which was released on the Asthmatic Kitty label he co-founded with his stepfather. He is perhaps best known for his 2005 album Illinois, which hit number one in the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart, and for the single "Chicago".Stevens has released albums of varying styles, from the electronica of Enjoy Your Rabbit and the lo-fi folk of Seven Swans to the symphonic instrumentation of Illinois and Christmas-themed Songs for Christmas. Carrie & Lowell is the seventh studio album album by American musician Sufjan Stevens, released through Asthmatic Kitty on March 31, 2015. Unlike Stevens' last studio album, the electronic Age of Adz, Carrie & Lowell is sparsely instrumental and marks a return to the performer's indie folk roots. The album was given a one week preview on NPR.

Surf City - Jekyll Island ( 2015 )

Formed in 2004 in Mt Roskill, Auckland, Surf City quickly formed a name for themselves as a "band to watch." This attention quickly spread overseas, with the band being picked up by notable label Morr Music for U.S and German distribution. Music website Stereogum tapped them as a "jangling, uptempo but melancholic form of shoegaze pop" They released a self-titled EP in 2008 a full-length album, Kudos on Fire Records, in 2010, and another album in 2013 entitled We Knew It Was Not Going to Be Like This.

The Shivers is a musical group which was formed in 2001 in Brooklyn, New York City by Keith Zarriello and Joanna Erdos. The group continued after 2009 with Zarriello and Joanne Schornikow. Schornikow left the band in 2012.
The Shivers' first record, "The Shakes", was recorded at Context Studios in Brooklyn. It was released independently and sold at shows and is now out of print. Shortly thereafter, Erdos left the band and Zarriello was left to continue on alone playing New York City clubs for the next few years both solo and with a revolving cast of musicians.
