Pause between songs on a playlist

Pause between songs on a playlist

I want to be able to insert a "time gap" between songs on my playlists. For example, there are some songs I want to end without the next song coming on right away. Is there a way to do this? I am a fitness instructor and sometimes don't want the next song to play right away after the previous one ends.

Not at the moment as far as i know.

Maybe you could request this as a suggested feature?.

Hope this helps?.

That could be a great feature suggestion indeed. Head over here to submit your idea and make sure to mention it in this thread too ๐Ÿ™‚

The best I can suggest is using silent tracks, such as

spotify:track:5lSsXLWJIPCs1LcSdR1q3X:small
to incorporate longer pauses in your playlist.

Here's a playlist of silent tracks if you need something longer or shorter:

spotify:playlist:0MrWndPwlGqGr4VzjoIbU3

Thank you!

Thank you! That might do the trick for now!

Hey, so I wanted some space between songs too to make space for just enjoy the silence too.

So I asked ChatGPT to write me a script for this. I'm on OSX, I'm sure there are ways to do it on Windows.

Here is the link to the Python script I'm using.
