Searching for a traditional folk song from Brazil

Dear Spotify-Community,

I'm currently writing a book and for this, I would love to add a verse of a Brazilian Folk Song (preferably older). It should be a bit melancholic, it'd be perfect if it had topics like saying goodbye, leaving someone, possibly even going to war. But other topics are possible, too: united world, diversity, freedom, sticking together, and such.

I found Fado Português by Amália Rodrigues, which, of course, isn't a Brazilian folk song. The song would've been great, though. Does anyone know something similar from Brazil?
