So this year has been a surprise of sorts.  I am a tad surprised at a few things namely a couple of my most listened to artists this year were a surprise. (Did I really listen to Camila Cabello THAT much....seriously, Spotify?)

Small increase in the amount of time I listened to music this year as well which is cool.

I also:

listened to Millionaire for 33 hours;

listened to non-mainstream artists 140% more than the average Spotify listener;

listened to 6506 tracks (out of 8438 total this far according to last.fm);

I'm waiting for my last.fm stats, I still have to wait for a month for these.
As far as I know, ISAM by Amon Tobin is still the most-played album, second year in a row. Also, Amon Tobin has 2108 plays while Millionaire has almost 600. Oops... 😉

I have to say I wasn't too shocked on mine this year - it's always the same bands taking the title. I did break my last year record's though with 4,970 hours going to my top band. 😛
The only surprise was some hair metal sneaking in there - as I do go into some heavy 80's binges at times.\m/\m/ Definitely looking forward to cross comparing some stats with Last.Fm when that releases in a few more weeks.

And while I kinda wish my playlist was reflective of actual song plays - it is interesting to see a diverse palette as well.
