Me and my family:

Wrapped-2020.jpeg

My kids have a big influence on our Spotify stats, so I'm proud that The Beatles are in at #1:

Podcasts are starting to be a part of our listening habits:

My favourite discovery though was this "For The Record" playlist, that combines our most played Songs with related Podcasts - this is great to help discover and learn more about your favourite Artists:

Oooo @Jpgchief a fellow fan of Bohren & Der Club of Gore here!

Hey!

Post below your most played Spotify Wrapped song, and the playlist you most like listening to that has the song in it! I'm looking to expand my horizons! 😄

Super happy with my Wrapped this year 🎁

Here are the stats I'm most proud of:

my_wrapped2020.png

1. Kermode & Mayo (a.k.a. Wittertainment) were my weekly go-to podcast, and have been for the last few years, but when you put it into numbers, even I'm impressed (6,000+ minutes)!

2. I (wrongly) predicted Jacob Collier as my top artist this year, but if anyone has the right to come in 1st place above JC, it's Oh Wonder. Same story with top song of 2020 - OW must have narrowly clipped it, because I listened to 'All I Need' by JC a lot (ask my flatmate).

3. Proud to find out that I'm in the top 0.1% of any band, let alone one of my favourite bands evs 💚 I've seen some people ending up in the top 0.05% of listeners for their fave artist 👀

Hi everyone,

Let me join the Wrapped fever and show you some of my highlights. At first I was very impressed by the number of artists I've discovered throughout the year:

IMG_20201202_134243.jpg

What I liked the most was the genre chart, mostly due to the fact that I'm a big genre-fan and researcher. (No idea what art pop is, apart from Lady Gaga, of course)

I wasn't even surprised when I found out that my top songs didn't shine with too much of a variety:

And the conclusion:

IMG_20201202_133043.jpg

Turned out to be AURORA's year as I discovered her music in the beginning of the year and continued listening to her tracks. Also, Wrapped reminded me of some gems I had already forgotten, even though I always keep the heart pressed on my On Repeat.

Cheers!

Here is my 2020 Wrapped summary, including my top 5 most-played artists and songs:

2020wrapped.JPG

Phish was my most-played artist, and Space Rock was my most-played genre (which you can also see for my top 5 genres of the year):

My most-played song this year according to 2020 Wrapped is "The Willow" by Doctor Smoke:

The playlist containing this song that I enjoy listening to the most is my stoner rock playlist; and it can also be found in Spotify's Stoner Rock playlist (which I think has a good selection of songs as well):

My most-played genre according to 2020 Wrapped was Space Rock. While Spotify doesn't currently have a curated Space Rock playlist, I enjoy listening to my own space rock playlist (for which I select artists based on genre tags on last.fm), as well as this algorithmically-generated space rock playlist by The Sounds of Spotify:

It's really nice Spotify. It's the first time I've come across one and it's impressive. It's like a music video specifically made for the member. The choice of tracks from start to finish is excellent. As corny as it sounds it does make one feel special. I was about to complain about the numerous ads appearing in the streams of the site but the Wrapped tones it down. (You still have to cut down on the ads).

Good job on your service to the listener and keep up the great work.
