Hello !
Dan Blakeslee ( 73 Followers )
While attending art school in Baltimore, Maryland Dan Blakeslee, a Maine native discovered that he had an equal and deeply rooted connection to music. He would sneak into the galleries to play his guitar through the late hours of the evening surrounded by easels and oil paintings. After four years in “Charm City” he returned to his childhood home in the Tatnic Woods of South Berwick, ME. That summer he played street corners in New Hampshire and Maine while working at a lobster restaurant. His employer urged him to sever ties to manual labor for one of a more musical nature. A phone call from a friend offering him a room in Somerville, MA began his journey south in 1995. While settling into this artful community he began to practice his craft in the smoke laden subways of Boston. He now has been making music and art in the New England region ever since, leading him to tour the U.S. and abroad. He has performed with The Low Anthem, David Wax Museum, The Lumineers, Deer Tick, Liam Finn, Brown Bird, Joe Fletcher, Jonah Tolchin, Pearl and the Beard, Will Dailey, Death Vessel and Kimya Dawson to name a few.

I'm Kingfisher ( 183 Followers )
With a trio of solo albums under his own name and now two under his latest guise, Sweden’s Thomas Jonsson has delivered Avian, his second release as I’m Kingfisher. Eschewing the American perception of Swedish musical fare, Jonsson began building a solid foundation using the American indie-folk oeuvre with 2005’s Barely Touching It and 2007’s The Lake Acts Like an Ocean — the latter featuring collaborations with Rosie Thomas, Damien Jurado, Nina Kinert and Ned Oldham, brought Jonsson European acclaim. His 2010 release, Arctic — the first under the I’m Kingfisher moniker — added new musical textures to his mostly acoustic palette, creating a gelid ambiance.

At the Close of Every Day ( 195 Followers )
At the Close of Every Day, stylized as at the close of every day, is a Dutch band, consisting of Minco Eggersman and Axel Kabboord. Their music, a mix of slow pop music with symphonic elements, has been described as "night music". Most of their songs concern Christian religion, though not explicitly. The first two albums consist mainly of songs with English lyrics (apart from the song zalig zijn de armen van geest, Blessed be the poor of spirit in English). The lyrics of the album de geluiden van weleer, are completely in Dutch. Although the title of the last album, troostprijs, is Dutch, almost all songs are English, including the title song.

Amps For Christ ( 208 Followers )
Amps For Christ is the current music project of Man Is the **bleep** and **bleep** Noise veteran and metal/noise pioneer Henry Barnes. The project is based out of Claremont, California.
Conceptually, Amps for Christ originated in 1996, when Barnes met recording enthusiast and The Dull bandmember Enid Snarb. Barnes decided that he wanted to combine his experience with experimental noise and extreme metal with his love for traditional folk music, classical composition and jazz. Barnes and his friend and fellow Man Is the **bleep** veteran Joel Connell started Two Ambiguous Figures, in which Barnes played the sitar and Connell played the tabla. Fiddling with the traditional Indian instruments led to the creation of Amps for Christ, known for its esoteric and geographically diverse instrumentation. Barnes also wanted to add an element of technical sound making to the project. Barnes and his collaborators often modify or create their own musical instruments in order to get specific sounds for their tracks. Some examples of these instrument and sound creations include stringed instruments, pre-amps, amplifiers and other acoustic instruments. Barnes reportedly is fascinated with waveform manipulation, another theme that is prominent throughout Amps for Christ. ( wikipedia )
