[Developers] Intermittent error with email verification process

We're getting reports of intermittent issues with the email verification process on Spotify for Developers' website. Spotify is already investigating it internally and working on a fix. Please, give us more information about the steps you're taking and leave your +VOTE if you're experiencing this issue.

I would like to get started with Spotify for Developers. I went to the dashboard to create an app, but it shows an orange banner saying "You need to verify your email address (**bleep**) before you can create an app."

So I clicked Verify. It sent me an email, with a link and a button labeled "Confirm email." I click the button, then it takes me to a page that's blank except for a red banner across the top saying, "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again."

I've tried again repeatedly over the last hour and a half, with the same result. Tried three different browsers, and incognito mode in two of them -- same result. Tried on my Android phone, same.

I also decided to take a look at my Spotify account status. When I go to https://www.spotify.com/us/account/overview/, I see a similar red banner with the message, "Something went wrong. Try again later."

I've seen that other people have had similar problems over the past years, including someone else here yesterday, but I haven't seen any solutions posted. I just spent some time in a chat with a support advisor -- she wasn't able to get anywhere with it and all she could suggest was that I post here.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? And also clearing the cookies?

I tried it in incognito mode, I think that's pretty much same thing.

Same here. Changing email did not help and I can't change my email back now.

My email confirmed here, on community website.

Link from confirmation email says Something went wrong, try again.

I registered a new account on Spotify, and the same error occurs with it.

I also have the same problem, I'm just about done being treated like an **bleep** with their support team, when the problem is on their end. Hopefully the mods can help us escalate.
