Non-car Bluetooth devices displaying in Car View mode

We've seen reports of some Bluetooth connections to other devices displaying Car View. The right team is aware of this.

We're aware of individual cases where this still happens and will continue looking into the issue.
We don't have an immediate ETA for a fix, but it's on our radar.

Spotify thinks a Topping mx3s is a car.

Perhaps being able to disable car mode per device would help.

Acrux bluetooth headphones incorrectly show as a car device. None of the "fixes" appear to work. Perhaps "Acrux" is too similar to "Acura"?

Oh, are people still hoping for a fix to this?

I gave up and cancelled my subscription.

It's become obvious that Spotify doesn't care about user experience.

Listeners or artists, they don't care about you.

Unless you've got corporate money to throw around you might as well be a money bag for them to siphon on their quest to monopolize the non-visual media landscape and force you to use them.
