Alexa & Sonos - Sam Smith

Hi I have just come across to Spotify from Deezer as Spotify supposedly works with Amazon Echo and Sonos. Last night when testing it out I asked "Alexa , play Sam Smith in the kitchen", however some other artist 'Sam Smith (AUS)' started playing obviously not the Sam Smith I wanted. How do I get the right Sam Smith ? I tried asking for other bands and artists succesfully.
