Calcul heures ecoutes livres audio

Bonjour,

je souhaiterais savoir comment se décompte les heures d'ecoute d'un livre si on le commence au milieu.

Je lis le livre papier le soir à la maison et je souhaite le continuer en audio pendant la journée.

Est ce que toutes les heures du livre me seront decomptées ou uniquement les chapitres lus? Ce n'est pas très explicite dans les FAQ de spotify pour moi

We hope you don't mind us answering in English as this is the official language of the forum.

That being said, we'll add some insights. We count the audiobook listening time used based on each playback of an audiobook at normal speed. This means that it doesn't really matter if you start listening to a chapter at the middle: minutes will be counted based on the time you listen to, and not on the time you decided to skip.

That being clarified, it's also important that you take into account that:

• If you listen to a 5-hour audiobook at 2x speed, even if you finish the audiobook in 2.5 hours, your audiobook listening time is reduced by 5 hours, since that’s the length of the book at normal speed. 
• If you relisten to a book, or part of the book, your allocated audiobook listening time will continue to reduce as normal.

Remember you can always check how much audiobook listening time is left in the plan and how long before your listening hours are renewed by following the steps in this article.
