Can't scrobble to Last.fm

Hi,

I'm using the Spotify software on windows 7 / 64bit PC, but no tracks at all are scrobbled to my last.fm account.

In the "preferences" menu of the installed spotify software program, my last.fm account is shown as connected to spotify, so this should be fine.

Tried also to re-install Spotify software, nothing happened.

Any ideas?

I'm having a similar problem getting Spotify to scrobble from an iPhone 6s Plus.  Spotify settings show I'm logged into Last.fm but scrobbles are not registering.

Anyone else with this issue know of a fix?

I am also having the same problem where I regularly update the spotify desktop app on my computers and now last.fm scrobbling is broken? I am not sure which recent version broke it but usually updating maintains the scrobbling. I hope the scrobbles have not gone into oblivion? Obviously I am still connected to last.fm on both computers tried disconnecting and re-establish and playing to no avail.
