Can you download songs/podcasts as Mp3?

I have Spotify premium, so I hope this helps with context. I want to download song to my laptop as Mp3. Is that possible?

Obviously it isn't, or people would download what they want, then stop paying for Spotify.

We hope you don't mind us moving your reply, as it fits better here in Help Boards.

So, to clarify, on Premium, you can download albums, playlists, and podcasts. You can download as many as 10,000 songs on each of up to 5 different devices.

Keep in mind, this means you download content to listen to on the app when you're in offline mode. In other words, the content you downloaded is not going to be stored on your devices as files, but only to listen to when you're using the app in offline mode.

That being said, you can read how this works in this article. Try it and let us know how it goes and if you're able to download content.

Yes, free users can download podcasts (only within the app), although you may need a Premium subscription to download some shows. We'd suggest checking out this article that has some more info on podcasts and shows, including how to download them.
