Cant log in - proxy code 16

Cant log in - proxy code 16


I am trying to log into spotify on my new macbook pro and am getting the proxy error code 16.


I have tried deleting the app and restarting, and resetting the proxy settings and nothing is working. 


Can someone please help?

Hi @standerfamily!


Could you confirm that you've tried setting the Proxy type to No proxy? You can do that by clicking on the Settings option on the login screen.


Are you using a Windows device? If so, then another thing to check out would be your Firewall settings - make sure it's not blocking Spotify. If you're using a VPN, try disabling it temporarily.
