Chromecast dropouts

Hi all, I've had this problem since the beginning - across different networks, devices and routers/wifi setups. Streaming from web player to chromecast drops out, and I need to disconnect from chromecast, play in browser momentarily, then reconnect to chromecast. This happens several times an album and I'm seriously considering going back to Google play (but love the spotify algos).

One thing I noticed is that when the dropout occurs, the playback time for the song exceeds the song finish time. E.g. music drops out, I look at web player, and song is at 8:23 - while the song says its finish time is 6:30.
