Chromecast keeps pausing

The problem I have has been extensively described in the following thread:

Unfortunately, your lovely employee has decreed the issue is fixed, closed the thread and thre is no option for me to reply there. The issue is not fixed. Please check and reopen the thread. And fix it ASAP.

Sorry to hear you're still experiencing this issue.

Just to confirm, what device are you using to cast Spotify to your Chromecast? Also, please send us your OS and Spotify version numbers.

In the meantime, please try a clean reinstall as the closing post suggests to see if it helps.
